As a Christian, I have often asked the same question that I hear many asking today, “When will the call of God on my life start?” As a Pastor, I now have a new perspective on things and have found the answer to this question. Your call has already started in God’s eyes; it just has to start in your eyes. You see, the book of Jeremiah tells us that God knew us before we were ever born, and He called us, set us apart, and had a plan. That means that when I was born, God saw me as a pastor. My parents, the doctor in the delivery room, and all the nurses may not have called me pastor – but God did. Even when I was backslidden in my teenage years, he still saw me as a pastor – even when the cops saw me as a juvenile and a threat. God has always seen you through the eyes of His calling for your life. Your call begins when you start it. When your eyes and vision about yourself line up with God’s eyes and vision towards you, then you will launch into the perfect plan that He has for you. Stop asking WHEN and start looking at NOW!
